€˜Yes we can' was a powerful slogan a few years ago….
€˜YES WE WILL' is Hireland's belief today.
Together, we'll change things for the better. That's because we've already made a huge difference. In January, Hireland asked for pledges from the small and medium sized businesses of Ireland to hire 5000 people. In 6 months they smashed that target proving what Irish people can achieve when they decide they want to change things for the better.
Now it's time to do even more. And with your help we will.
Ireland has an incredible untapped resource of power: its counties. Hireland wants to plug into the pride every county has in itself. And to do so, we need to find a team of very special people. At least one person per county who wants to make a positive difference, locally and nationally.
It doesn't matter what age you are. It doesn't matter who you are. If you can connect with the business networks in your county, (they might be friends, neighbours and colleagues) to start a local Hire One network that will use imagination and energy to stimulate jobs, we need to hear from you.
Individually, it's tough for anyone to make a difference. But together, we can do incredible things. It just takes one person in each county to start the ball rolling. You'll be able to tap into Hireland's experience and resources. But what we really need are your own ideas. You know your county. You know what's needed. And you know who you can rely on to assist.
Irish people are straining at the leash to get the country back in the race. If you can help make us make it happen in your county, now's your chance.
